What Are Invisalign Clear Aligners & How Do They Work?
The Invisalign orthodontic system is great for teenage and adult patients who want a more aligned smile, or adults who have stopped wearing retainers years ago and are experiencing crowding all over again.
Invisalign is an orthodontic system that uses a series of clear teeth aligners to gradually straighten teeth. These discreet invisible aligners are custom made to fit comfortably over teeth and should be worn throughout the day and night. The clear aligners are also removable for more enjoyable mealtimes and effective brushing and flossing.
Using digital imaging technology, Dr. Teiman will take a complete scan of the mouth to create multiple sets of clear braces that are designed to be swapped out every two weeks. Each pair is specially customized to move your teeth in a more correct and aligned position as your treatment progresses. Unless instructed otherwise, you will return to our office so that our Invisalign dentist can track your progress and make any necessary adjustments.

During your consultation, our Invisalign dentist, Dr. Teiman, will use state-of-the-art imaging technologies and digital x-rays to carefully examine your teeth and jaw. She will use the diagnosis to help you determine if Invisalign is right for you.
If you decide to undergo treatment with Invisalign, our dentist will take a set of mess-free digital impressions of your teeth and use those impressions to develop your custom Invisalign treatment plan!
